Wanny Muñoz

Program Manager

As National Urban Fellow’s Program Manager, Wanny Muñoz is responsible for building strong relationships with our fellows, mentors and our academic partner institutions. Prior to joining the National Urban Fellows team, Wanny served as the Program Director for Horizons at Dedham Country Day School, a tuition-free academic enrichment program serving public school students on the campuses of independent schools, colleges and universities across the country where she served as point person for the day-to-day operations of all summer and year-round programming. Ms. Muñoz is also the Co-founder and Managing Director of UWander, a social enterprise dedicated to developing dynamic leaders with a global perspective, creating social impact and connecting communities through a ten month immersive experience that prepares its participants to lead a week-long empowerment conference for youth in Dominican Republic. UWander was founded during Wanny’s time working at Chica Project where she held several leadership roles including Program Director. Most recently, she serves as an Advisory Board member for the organization.

Wanny graduated from Stonehill College in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. She received recognition from the YWCA Tribute to Women in 2017 and in 2016 she received the Power Under 30 Honoree for El Planeta Newspaper for her extraordinary community achievements in Massachusetts.
