As Program Manager, Anabelle Rondon oversees the Alliance’s successful Great Neighborhoods (GN) initiative, which supports a network of smart growth practitioners and projects across the state.

Prior to joining the Alliance in May 2015, Anabelle Rondon served as a Community Development Associate at the Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC) in New York City. She was part of the Choice Neighborhoods team leading the development of a comprehensive revitalization plan in Mott Haven, a South Bronx neighborhood. The engagement plan also focused on developing the leadership and capacity of residents for a long-term healthier and sustainable community.

Anabelle received a Master’s degree in Public Administration as part of the National Urban Fellows program. While in graduate school, Ms. Rondon worked for commissioner Darryl C. Towns as an Ombudsmen at the New York State Homes and Community Renewal. With a degree in Business Management from Cambridge College-Massachusetts, she worked and consulted at a number of Community Development Corporations in program management, homeownership education, financial wealth coaching, foreclosure prevention counseling and community engagement. In addition, Ms. Rondon led a resident service coordination program as part of the property management team at a 501 public housing development in Somerville, Massachusetts.
