WHO WE ARE
National Urban Fellows is a leadership accelerator for and talent pipeline of diverse mid- career professionals committed to equity, public service, and social impact. Since 1969, NUF has made deep investments in Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) and women leaders committed to public service, racial equity and social justice. The National Urban Fellows (NUF) is the only program in the U.S. that offers the following:
A fully funded master’s degree from a world-class institution
Mentoring by committed senior executives
Full-time residencies at renowned institutions
Targeted national recruiting of exemplary Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) and female candidates
Leadership development support with an emphasis on equity
ABOUT NUF
NUF’s program cultivates and prepares the social impact leaders of tomorrow by combining an interdisciplinary curriculum with practical work experience and mentoring by a senior leader to give emerging leaders the skills and network they need to successfully drive social change. The fellowship program is centered on early to mid-career professionals who are committed to equity, public service, and social impact.
