Catherine-Mercedes Brillantes Judge
Catherine has been managing youth, advocacy, and leadership development programs across the country since 2005. She is currently coordinating the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s organizational change initiative, Race to Justice, which aims to embed racial equity and social justice practices across the agency in order to improve health outcomes for all New Yorkers.
Catherine is passionate about civic engagement and has served on city and non-profit boards including: San Francisco’s Parks Recreation and Open Space Advisory Committee, Citywide Transitional Age Youth Board, and South of Market Community Action Network, representing the interests of working class families and youth.
