Natalie Delille

Natalie Delille is a social equity advocate, known for her visionary leadership that drives meaningful, lasting change in underserved communities. She is committed to bridging systemic gaps through technology, education, strategic innovation and inclusive solutions that center the needs of those too often overlooked.

After graduating from Howard University’s School of Business, Natalie began her career at Visa, where she spent five years building a reputation as a “Swiss army knife,” a versatile and trusted problem-solver who could seamlessly adapt across functions, teams, and challenges. Most recently, she served as Global Strategy Manager on the Social Impact and Sustainability team, where she acted as an internal consultant, helping translate global ideas into action. She supported the development of Visa’s financial inclusion and education programs, ensuring they remained locally relevant and accessible across diverse communities. In addition to her programmatic work, Natalie helped the team operate more efficiently by developing internal project tracking tools, streamlining processes, and coaching her teammates to use new technologies, including generative AI, to strengthen
their work.

Natalie led the creation of Visa disaster response policy, helping the company define how resources would be mobilized in times of crisis. She also developed external-facing communications to articulate the team’s impact and advised on the company’s approach to digital skills and financial education. Her favorite part of the role was having a truly global scope, supporting initiatives in Central Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and working closely with regional teams to adapt solutions to the realities on the ground.

Before this, Natalie completed Visa’s two-year global leadership rotation program, where she gained experience across the company—from the Visa Foundation supporting small and micro business grantmaking, to the President’s Office where she helped lead Responsible AI initiatives and hosted company-wide fairness workshops. She also worked in the Risk organization on global thought leadership strategy and partnered with clients on the Marketing team to drive cardholder engagement. It was her time working on AI in the President’s Office that ultimately inspired her to pursue graduate study.

Natalie earned her Master’s degree in AI Ethics & Society from the University of Cambridge. Her dissertation explored the role of the African diaspora in shaping ethical AI development. Her research focused on the dual nature of AI, its potential to drive social progress, and its risk of reinforcing existing inequalities especially when communities in the Global South are excluded from the development process.

Outside of her corporate and academic work, Natalie is the Founder and CEO of Dear Society, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved youth through education, mentorship, and scholarships, especially in her family’s hometown in Haiti. She has led workshops for HBCU students, served in leadership roles within Visa’s Black Employee Network, and supported local Haitian entrepreneurs through business coaching and pitch development.

As a National Urban Fellow, Natalie is looking to deepen her understanding of public policy and explore how systems-level change can further amplify her work at the intersection of technology, equity, and education.
