Tejeswara Vaka Reddy

Tejeswara Reddy is a management consultant and public policy leader with a proven track record of executive leadership across domestic and international contexts, spanning the government, private, and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, Tejeswara served as Vice President at TRC LLC, a management consulting firm advising mission-driven organizations across the U.S. and Europe. He led strategic growth initiatives, built a high-performing team, and cultivated long-term partnerships. His leadership highlights include convening philanthropic leaders at the White House, connecting AI and learning science experts to accelerate innovation, and designing tailored systems that elevated client outcomes. In 2023, he was featured in McKinsey & Company’s Asian Executive Leadership Academy.

Before joining TRC LLC, Tejeswara gained valuable perspective through key policy and public service roles. He worked on the federal budget and economic policy as an APAICS Congressional Fellow in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, supported education policy at the U.S. Department of Education, and advanced global development initiatives at an international foundation. He led school operations at Uncommon Schools during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic in Brooklyn, New York, ensuring educational continuity for hundreds of students. As a U.S. Fulbright Scholar in Athens, Greece, he facilitated cultural exchange and educational initiatives. He completed the Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs, gaining cross-sector experience in civic leadership and organizational strategy in Los Angeles, California. His career began as a Teach For America corps member in Phoenix, Arizona, where he taught high school math and launched student leadership programs.

Tejeswara holds a Master of Education in Secondary Mathematics from Arizona State University, where he graduated with a 4.0 GPA. He earned his B.A. in Economics and Politics, with a minor in Environmental Science, from Willamette University. As an undergraduate, he was a nationally ranked debater, winning top honors in national and international tournaments, and was elected student body president.

Beyond his professional work, Tejeswara remains a committed civic and community leader. He serves on the Board of Directors for With Love LA, a for-profit social enterprise dedicated to sustainably expanding access to healthy food in South Central Los Angeles. He regularly collaborates with the U.S. Department of State, the British Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, the Urban Leaders Fellowship, and the New Leaders Council to mentor emerging leaders. His dedication to service also extends into his personal life—he is a PADI-certified Rescue Diver and Emergency First Responder. In addition to English, Tejeswara also speaks Spanish, French, Greek, and Telugu. As a first-generation American, Tejeswara views service as both a responsibility and a calling.

Through NUF, he hopes to deepen his capacity to lead at the national level and live up to the words in his oath of citizenship: “…to perform work of national importance.”
