Trevor Jenkins
Trevor Jenkins is a DEI leader, learning & development professional, and former pastor with fifteen years of experience curating learning journeys in both for-profit and non- profit organizations. Most recently, he has served in DEI leadership positions at successful, global, high-growth companies such as ServiceNow, Active Campaign, and Coyote Logistics (a UPS company). Before transitioning into the for-profit sector, Trevor had close to a decade of experience working as a pastor with a variety of faith-based organizations, helping to create a deeper sense of awareness around different identities within communities across the southeast and midwest.
Trevor has a Master of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Minor in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University. Mr. Jenkins’ mission in life is to help Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) employees experience true equity in the workplace and have the freedom to intentionally curate their careers. It is the reason he founded both Unfiltered Conversations and ThinkDEI.
Unfiltered Conversations is changing the way the workplace works for people of color. It is a leadership development and 1:1 coaching program that supports BIPOC employees. Unfiltered Conversations’ learning pillars are carefully curated to address the unique needs and challenges BIPOC employees face in their professional growth and advancement. Additionally, the mission of ThinkDEI is to impact employees at every level with the skills needed to incorporate DEI into everyday work.
The sustainable change Trevor desires to see is rooted in public policy and inspired by his background as a pastor and DEI leader. Trevor believes that National Urban Fellows and the coursework in the Georgetown University McCourt NUF-MPM program will provide the knowledge, skills, and applied experience needed to master decision-making and implementation in public policy and policy management.
